PLAN
Before every Session, we'll have a planning call, where I’ll learn more about your goals for your photos, and share the plan for how we will pull that off. It’s also a chance for me to get to know you better and answer any questions you have.
PREPARE
Next, you’ll receive my Style Guide. It’s a handbook that covers every aspect of how to prepare for your shoot - from clothing and makeup, to overcoming negative self talk, and everything in between.
CAPTURE
Day of the shoot, you’ll be assisted in preparing wardrobe and final touch-ups, then led through a flow of natural and flattering poses to capture a wide variety of poses and groupings with your party.
ORDER
After your shoot, you'll receive a link to your digital proof gallery to select the images you’d like to order. Then I’ll send them off to my retoucher and deliver stunning, magazine-quality digital images for you to print, share and cherish forever.

I grew up right here in Cincinnati but spent the last 20 years living in NYC, Stockholm, LA, and Atlanta pursuing a career in Film & Television.
What drives me to capture incredible heartfelt moments is my deep desire to understand the human condition. My empathy and curiosity have opened me to hearing thousands of peoples’ stories. And I want to know yours.

There’s no such thing as “photogenic”.
I mean it! With good makeup and lighting, the right colors and styles, a skilled photographer with a great lens, and some subtle retouching, anyone could look like they belong in a magazine. Wrinkles and curves only make you more relatable. What makes people really connect with your photo has EVERYTHING to do with your connection to me through the lens, and NOTHING with that last 10 pounds you think you need to lose.
(Although I can easily shed 10 pounds with the right camera angles and good posing!)

Where will the sessions be?
We will be at my beautiful natural light studio in Hamilton, OH, conveniently accessible from I-75 and Route 128.
What if she doesn't want a black backdrop?
If she does not prefer the style of the Black Collection, she may customize the Session however she chooses! I have a beautiful lifestyle studio with modern furniture and a white backdrop, and can also shoot outdoors or on-location at her home.
How many people can we bring?
To make the most of our time together, I must limit to 6 people per session. If you would like to do a larger extended family photo, I would recommend booking 2 sessions back to back - so we'll have time to get all the groupings.
How long is the Session?
The beginning of your appointment to the end of your appointment will take 60 minutes.

When will I get my photos?
You'll receive a link to your digital proof gallery of images from the shoot within 7 days, and have your retouched high resolution images in 3-5 business days after you make your selections.
Will the photos be in B&W or Color?
I will deliver your photos in both formats - so you can choose which you prefer. I'll also deliver them as hi-res files (great for printing) and lo-res files (great for storing on your phone or sharing on social media).
What if I want more than 3 photos?
Three photos are included with your session fee, but if you love your photos and want more, additional photos can be ordered from your gallery.
Additional photos are priced:
- 1 photo $100
- 5 photos $450 (save $50)
- 10 photos $750 (save $250)
- 20 photos $1250 (save $750)
Retouching scares me. Will I still look like me?
My retoucher is the master of subtle. You can expect your eyes to pop, your skin blemishes to magically be healed, any rough skin, shine or pores to be minimized, stray hairs to be cleared, and under eye shadows are brightened so you look more awake and vibrant. You will still look like you. Just you on your best day in perfect lighting. And who doesn’t want that?
Does my session include hair and makeup?
Some people may choose to schedule hair and makeup appointments before their session. If you'd like to hire someone, let me know. I'm happy to make a recommendation.
But to keep these intro sessions quick and cost-effective, most clients choose to do their own grooming. I provide a limited touch-up kit including things like hair spray, mascara, concealer, bronzer and chapstick to make sure you look close to perfection, but ask that you please come camera-ready (hair styled, facial hair groomed, makeup ready).
I will also have a steamer and clothing rack available, but please arrive dressed, or with clean, pressed clothing on hangers.
What should I wear?
We will discuss this at your Planning Call, and I'll also cover this in your Style Guide! The Black Collection is great for Glam or Casual - you can wear a gown, be wrapped in tulle, or go simple with black turtlenecks or T-shirts. It's all up to you!
