Commercial and Product Photography

What's the difference between Commercial and Product Photography?

Product Photography typically showcases an individual or entire line of physical products with a white background which be overlaid into ads or sales content. It may also include lifestyle photography featuring models using or enjoying the product. These photos do not need to be shot at a business location.

These images are useful for:

  • product description pages
  • digital ads
  • blog posts
  • email content
  • social media content
  • printed marketing materials

Commercial Photography is a collection of on-brand, styled images that can include business location shots, styled product shots, lifestyle shots of people enjoying the product, and team member photos. These photos are typically taken at the business location.

Commercial Photography can be used for:

  • your website
  • google maps
  • digital ads
  • social media posts
  • social media banners and profile photos
  • email content
  • printed marketing materials

Which is best for my business?

Typically this would be determined by the type of business you run and your business goals. Product photography is usually best for physical products and ecommerce, while commercial photography would be best service based industries that have a storefront location.

You may also choose to have a longer shoot or set up a monthly or quarterly subscription to provide a backlog of content that can be released over time, and used over a variety of ways.

Packages starting from $699.
