What's the difference between Headshots and Branding Photos?
Headshots typically showcase you, from the chest up, in front of a simple background. These shots are generally meant to show your warmth and confidence in a simple setting.
A headshot session is perfect for those that need images for:

- social media profiles
- blog posts
Personal Brand Photos are a collection of on-brand, styled images that show you in an environment, doing something. Many clients like to have a variety of shots that show them in a relaxed, natural setting, going about the business of their day-to-day lives. This could include daily routines, work life, time with friends and family, and even hobbies.
Branding Photos are perfect for those that need images for:
- your website
- social media posts
- social media banners and profile pictures
- sales and landing pages
- speaking engagements
- printed marketing materials
Do I need both?
While professional headshots are now a standard necessity for most industries, your personal brand photos provide a backlog of content that can be released over time, and used over a variety of ways.
Potential clients love to see ‘behind the scenes’ and get a glimpse of you on a deeper level. My clients like to portray aspects of themselves in their workplaces as well as hint at what they enjoy doing in their own time. For example, business owners are often captured during phone calls with clients, working on creations, walking with their dogs, playing with their children or reading their favorite books.

What can I expect from my Session?
Headshots and Personal Branding sessions can be shot on location of your home, business, outdoors, or in a studio. Many clients will schedule hair and makeup appointments in advance to arriving at the designated location. Shoots can last 1-4 hours depending on the number of looks captured. Packages range from $250-$1000+ depending on the length of the shoot (1 hour minimum), # of photo credits, and location fees (if any).
